Garden tool and knife sharpening
To coincide with AppleFest on 5 October, Adam, of Surrey Sharpeners, will be setting up his mobile shop in the Betchworth Village Hall parking area.
He’ll be starting early, before AppleFest is in full swing, offering an on-site service from 9.30am. Bring your secateurs, shears, spades, edging tools, hoes, loppers, axes, scissors and knives (garden or kitchen variety) back to life.
He’ll be working all day; you can drop off your tools early, and return to pick them up, and enjoy a coffee and cake later when the AppleFest juicing operations are in full flow.
Adam can also sharpen circular saw blades, chisels and plane irons, push mowers/ cylinder mowers and hedge trimmers back at his workshop – but not from his mobile shop. So why not use this opportunity to leave these items with him on 5 October, for return by post (normally around £5-£6 extra).
